RAYTOWN, MO (KCTV) -

Police say their incident involving a suspect barricaded inside a home has come to an end.

The incident was happening in the area of 59th Terrace and Harris Avenue. It began about 4 p.m.

Police said they got a call at that time about a man and woman arguing in front of a home. A postal carrier had approached the two, and was threatened by the man with a knife.

Officers said the man with the knife ran into the home as they turned onto the street.

A second person came out peacefully and, after about an hour, the man surrendered without incident.

No one was injured.

Police said no charges have been filed, but they are investigating and especially looking into what transpired with the postal worker and the knife.
