KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

A natural gas leak forced the evacuation of some residences in the Strawberry Hill neighborhood in KCK.

Crews dug to find the leak. A 150-foot area was evacuated, which means three houses and two four-plexes were impacted.

The area is at Coy Street and Gilmore Avenue, which is about two blocks west of Seventh Street Trafficway and just north of Interstate 70. The leak was reported about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, and the repairs were completed by 3:45 p.m.

KCK firefighters were on scene as a precaution as Kansas Gas Service crews dug.
