GRAIN VALLEY, MO (KCTV) -

Believe it or not, there was an election Tuesday in Grain Valley.

Voters braved the snow to cast their ballot in a special election asking for a $3.8 million bond for the school district.

It would add more rooms in the high school and improve security.

The bond question passed with 79 percent of the vote. If you're wondering, 566 people came out to vote.
