Police: 1 suffers life-threatening injuries in KCK crash

The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of North 75th Street and Parallel Parkway, located just west of the Kansas City Community College campus. KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One person has suffered life-threatening injuries after a wreck Monday.

The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of North 75th Street and Parallel Parkway, located just west of the Kansas City Community College campus.

At least one person was trapped in the front seat of the car when KCK firefighters arrived on the scene.

That person had to be cut out of the wreckage.

A air ambulance helicopter was called to the scene to transport one patient but was later canceled.

No other details were immediately available.
