KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

It was a tense night for Kansas City police after a woman called them saying a man was shooting at her.

Officers were called about 1:30 a.m. Sunday to the 3900 block of Indiana Avenue on the reported disturbance.

When police arrived, the woman was able to get outside the home, but a man barricaded himself inside.

The subject eventually made telephone contact with officers and agreed to surrender and was taken into custody without incident just before 4 a.m.
