LAWRENCE, KS (KCTV) -

The man that is believed to have caused businesses in the East Hills Business Park area to go on lockdown is now in custody

The lockdown first began because of a domestic situation.

Lawrence police say they are were looking for a male employee of the business Prosoco. They said he was in the area, armed with a handgun and distraught. They had found his vehicle in the parking lot and all four of its tires were flat.

The incident began just before noon in the area of Greenway Circle, just north of Highway 10. Police gave the all-clear and the lockdown was lifted about 1:30 p.m.

"We are relieved that the individual involved has been found, and no harm was done to the individual, our employees or any others," a spokesperson for Prosoco wrote in a statement.
