(FOX19) -

Slick spots caused several accidents Thursday afternoon on major highways across the Tri-State.

At one point, accidents were reported on both directions of I-75, in addition to accidents on I-71, I-275, Ronald Reagan Highway, the Norwood Lateral and I-471.

The Roebling Bridge was also shut down at the beginning of rush hour as crews cleaned up a wreck caused by icy conditions.

AirCare rushed two children and one adult to local hospitals following a two-vehicle crash in southwest Kenton County. Police say they believe icy conditions were a factor in the crash.

We'll continue to monitor the situation and update this story.
