Residents evacuated after gas leak near 32nd, Orville in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

About a dozen people have been evacuated after a gas leak in KCK Wednesday morning.

It started shortly after 7:30 a.m. near North 32nd Street and Orville Avenue.

As a precaution, the Kansas City, KS, Fire Department is keeping everyone at least 50 feet back from the intersection.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews from Atmos Energy are on the scene to stop the leak.
