All-clear given to Highlands HS after bomb threat

FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) -

Police gave the all-clear to Highlands High School Wednesday morning after administrators received a voicemail reporting a bomb threat.

According to the school's website, administrators received the threat around 7 a.m. The school is located at 2400 Memorial Parkway in Fort Thomas.

The building was immediately evacuated as a precaution and students were moved to Highlands Middle School, which is located adjacent to the high school.

Police responded to conduct a search of the campus. Administrators received the all-clear from authorities by 9 a.m.

Classes were expected to resume as normal.
