VALDOSTA, GA (CNN) - A rally was held in Valdosta, GA Saturday to mark one year since the death of Kendrick Johnson.

Johnson's body was found in a rolled up mat in his high school gymnasium.

The sheriff's office said the 17-year-old died by accident while reaching for a shoe.

His parents don't believe it and are demanding more answers in their son's death.

Federal authorities also have their doubts.

FBI agents have been conducting interviews in South Georgia and met for several hours with Johnson's parents.
