KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police said their standoff has ended after a person matching the suspect description behind shots fired left a home officers had surrounded and surrended.

The standoff ended about 5:40 p.m.

Police said they entered the home afterwards and found a second suspect hiding in a kitchen cabinet about 6:10 p.m. He was also taken into custody.

It began about 3 p.m. when officers were called to the area on reports of shots fired. Officers arrived to find a Chinese food delivery man who told them that someone shot at his vehicle at least three times while he was making a delivery.

An investigation led police to a home at East 41st Street and Bellefontaine Avenue, but the people inside refused to come out.

Police said the suspects appear to be in their late teens. Their investigation continues, but they expect prosecutors to file charges Wednesday.
