Fire displaces eight in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Fire broke out in a single family home in the 300 block of North 12th Street in Kansas City, KS, just before 4 p.m.

Firefighters had the fire out in less than 15 minutes. However, eight residents of the house have been displaced.

The Red Cross has been called to the scene to assist because there is no power to the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
