OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who may be involved in multiple bomb threats at the Johnson County courthouse.

Police say the man is a person of interest in the investigation after multiple threats were telephoned in on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30.

The courthouse was evacuated at 2 p.m. Monday after a caller said there were explosive materials inside. Workers were sent home for the day since it took investigators hours to clear the building.

The courthouse is at 125 N. Cherry St. in downtown Olathe.

The man being sought is white and has a medium build. He was wearing jeans and a tan jacket. He is believed to be driving a newer model Ford F-150 four-door truck. It is two tones, primarily copper over gold in color.

If you have any information, call the sheriff's office at 913-715-5560 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
