Infant hit by flying glass when bullets fired at car

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A baby was struck by flying glass when bullets were fired Saturday afternoon.

The 1-year-old girl is expected to be OK after suffering cuts. The baby was treated at an area hospital.

Police believe the suspect is someone known by the baby's parents.

The shots were fired about 11:45 a.m. in the 2200 block of East Linwood Avenue.

The victim's vehicle had several new and old bullet holes in it, police said.
