Elmwood Place man wanted for child endangerment, assault

ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) -

Elmwood Place Police are searching for a man wanted for two counts of child endangering, felonious assault and domestic violence.

Authorities are searching for Ross Hudson, 30, following an incident on Poplar Street in Elmwood Place. The incident happened on December 14 around 3:00 a.m.

Officers say that Hudson woke the mother of his children and began beating her. Authorities say that Hudson began to strike the victim in the head while she held their seven-month-old child.

Police say that the couple's eight-year-old child also witnessed the assault.

Officers say Hudson continued to beat the victim throughout the night. The victim was able to escape and call for help early in the morning. The victim was transported to the hospital with multiple injuries to her face and skull.

Hudson fled the scene before police could arrive. Hudson has been described as 5'5" tall and weighing 140 pounds. He was last known to live on Poplar Street in Elmwood Place, where the offense occurred.
