RAYTOWN, MO (KCTV) -

One woman is dead Saturday morning after a single-car crash in Raytown.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash. They say someone called 911 about 3 a.m. to report a rollover in the 9700 block of East 87th Street.

When police arrived, officers found one vehicle lying on its right side. The female driver, who was not wearing her seat belt, was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are working to notify the victim's family and will not release her name until they do so.

Officers across the metro responded to crashes and vehicles that slid off the road as winter weather moved into the area.

The slick roads were being blamed for a multi-vehicle crash that happened about 12:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 69, just north of 135th Street in Olathe, KS, Saturday.

No one was seriously hurt in the multi-vehicle wreck.

Roads were slick Saturday morning and officers asked drivers to slow down and drive for the conditions.
