Can you believe Christmas is under two weeks away? There are several fun events happening around the Tri-State area this weekend, including an Olympic fitness test on Fountain Square and a college basketball rivalry separated by three miles.

Road to Sochi Tour

An interactive tour stops in the Queen City allowing fans to test their fitness skills with several Winter Olympic events, including bobsled, curling and figure skating. It's stopping at multiple U.S. cities through the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

Details: Friday, 1-7 PM. Fountain Square. Free. http://www.cincinnatiusa.com/Events/detail.asp?ProdID=163392.

Santacon

The Cincinnati Santacon takes hundreds of adults dressed like Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on a pub crawl through town. There's even a 'sleigh' shuttle to the North Pole (Mt. Adams). Participating venues and donations go to The Cure Starts Now.

Details: Saturday, noon-midnight. Meet at Fountain Square. Free + Santa costume. www.cincinnatisantacon.com.

Light Up OTR

An 8-block radius of Over-the-Rhine will glow with 2,000 luminaries during the 4th annual Light Up OTR. This year, the event will shine on Washington Park, Elm St., Race St., and Main St. There's even a massive Christmas tree. It's organized by Agar and PB&J.

Details: Saturday, 6-9 PM. Washington Park. Free. washingtonpark.org/event/light-up-otr.

Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic

Xavier and UC continue their decades-long rivalry at the neutral site, U.S. Bank Arena. While some say the Muskies/Bearcats rivalry is losing its luster, plenty are pumped (including the coaches).

"It's a special game," said XU Head Coach Chris Mack. "I can remember the games ever since I was 6-years-old, 7-years-old. To be a part of it, it's a special thing."

Details: Saturday, 8 PM. U.S. Bank Arena. http://www.goxavier.com/crosstownclassic/ & http://www.gobearcats.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/110713aaa.html.

Perfect North Slopes

There is nothing like the first ski or snowboard sesh of the year. Perfect North opened in November, and with the recent snow and freezing temperatures, conditions are perfect.

Details: Open Friday and Saturday, 9:30 AM-1 AM. Sunday, 9:30 AM-9:30 PM. 19074 Perfect Pl Ln, Lawrenceburg, IN. http://perfectnorth.com/.

Mt. Adams Reindog Parade *postponed*

The SPCA's annual Mt. Adams Reindog Parade is cute overload. Hundreds of costumed canines parade through the business district, led by Marty Brennaman, Mr. Perfect (Tom Browning) and Santa! It's been voted one of the best family events in Cincinnati.

Details: Postponed to Saturday, Dec. 21. Parade begins in Monastery Building Parking Lot, 1055 St. Paul Place. Heads down Pavilion Street, Carney Street, Hatch Street, St. Gregory Street, through main Business District to Towne Fountain, ends at Monastery Building.
