WYANDOTTE COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

Officials were involved in their fourth chase in less than a week Thursday evening.

Leavenworth Police Department Maj. Dan Nicodemus said police began pursuing a 25-year-old man who Leavenworth police had pursued numerous times in the past week.

Officials said he has several felony warrants that include fleeing and eluding, forgery, and many others.

Kansas Highway Patrol took over the chase.

The chase went through a highly trafficked and populated area of Wyandotte County, such as the Legends shopping center. A trooper crossed the median on Interstate 435 near the Great Wolf Lodge at one point.

The pursuit ended about 6 p.m. at the Leavenworth County boarder on Kansas Highway 7 near Marxsen Road.
