Police request help in death investigation

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Police are asking for the public's help in a death investigation.

On Tuesday about 4 p.m., Kansas City, KS, police were called to Bayard Avenue and 18th Street Expressway on reports of a body. Officers arrived and found a Hispanic male dead. The man was later identified as 40-year-old Santiago Zamora.

Police said their initial investigation shows that a person driving a vehicle struck the man between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Friday. At the time, the man had a red bicycle with him.
