CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Clarksville police have arrested two people on first-degree murder charges in connection with an August 2011 death.
Police arrested Mark Dewayne McMurry and Keith Kuzyk after a Montgomery County grand jury indicted them for the murder of Douglas Ramey on Aug. 16, 2011.
Ramey's body was found inside a vehicle behind a Crossland Avenue business by the business owner.
McMurry and Kuzyk have been charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.
"It's something that will probably linger here in this community for a while. He'll be sadly missed," said family member and pastor Wilbur Burney in 2011. "He comes from a big family and they're all gathered here in support, wanting to know what's going on, what happened and why did it happen."
