The fourth-ranked Auburn Tigers held a 90-minute
late afternoon workout in shells Wednesday at the Auburn Athletics Complex
practice fields, continuing to prepare for Saturday's Iron Bowl matchup with
top-ranked Alabama at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"We had a solid practice this evening," Auburn coach Gus
Malzahn said. "We want to stick with our routine and do what we've been doing
each week. It's just a matter of being able to execute and taking advantage of
things when you have them."
Tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day, the 10-1 Tigers will hold a
light mid-day practice before the players and coaches join their families for
holiday dinner.
The Auburn-Alabama game will be televised by CBS. Kickoff is 2:40 p.m. Central; fans should note that Tiger Walk begins at 12:20 p.m. and the Eagle Flight will be earlier this week – at 2:19 p.m. – because of Senior Day introductions. The winner of Saturday's game will play in the SEC championship game Saturday, December 7, in Atlanta.
