ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -

St. Charles police say two young children in foster care have been kidnapped by their biological mother and one child's father.

KMOV-TV reports that police suspect 1-year-old Trevion Dunn and 2-year-old Aleiyah Dunn were taken by their 20-year-old mother Cierra Dunn between last Friday and Monday. Twenty-three-year-old Jose Sanchez, Aleiyah's father, is also a suspect.

Sanchez had a weekend visitation starting Friday but couldn't be reached by the children's foster parents three days later. Police say both children are in temporary custody because of an ongoing neglect investigation.

The couple is driving a silver 1998 Chevrolet Malibu with Missouri license plate MK2-C0S and possibly headed to Wisconsin or Mexico.

Anyone with information should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Charles Police Department at 636-949-3309.
