TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

2013 has been another busy year at the Huntington Center, and the arena's manager says 2014 is shaping up to be a good year, as well.

Even though ‘The Greatest Show on Earth' did not visit the arena this year, Steve Miller says the Ringling Brothers act will be back in 2014, along with a variety of other events in the upcoming year.

"Professional bull riders had their best attendance last February, we're looking forward to having them back this coming February. Jeff Dunham is going to be here the day after Christmas and is probably going to sell out. The calendar looks very good. Country music fans are strong in this market. We're looking at some Christian rock events, some classic rock events," said Miller.

Lucas County Commissioner Pete Gerken says that variety of events could possibly include indoor lingerie football.

"The management has been approached, would that be a possible venue to hold this kind of entertainment. If they want to try it here at their own financial risk, not at our financial risk. This is a multi-purpose arena," said Gerken.

Neither Miller nor a spokesman for the Legends Football League would comment on that possibility. However, Miller says one thing is certain, the arena's main tenant, the Toledo Walleye, continues to pack in the crowds.

"They do a great job getting people in the building. They had their best attendance ever, almost 235,000 came in the building," said Miller.
