Veterans holiday DUI patrols in Prescott wrap up

PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS News) -

Prescott police have wrapped up a Veterans Day weekend DUI patrol after issuing 105 traffic citations.

Five people were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Of those, two were charged with extreme DUI.

The average alcohol concentration was .148, well above the legal limit of .08.

Five traffic safety officers from Prescott police, part of the Tri-City DUI Task Force, took part in the detail.

The Tri-City DUI Task Force will continue to conduct high-profile details throughout the year.
