Phoenix, Tempe, Tucson, hosting Veterans Day parades

Parades honoring the nation's veterans are set for Phoenix, Tempe, Prescott and Tucson.

Monday's parades are among numerous events planned across Arizona honoring the nation's military veterans.

The parade in Phoenix kicks off at 11 a.m. at the North Phoenix Baptist Church on Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The route heads south on Central, east on Camelback and south on 7th street to Indian School Road.

Paul Horton and Nicole Crites of the CBS 5 Morning Show will be on hand to announce during the Phoenix parade.

The Tucson parade begins at 10:30 a.m. and heads east Alameda Street to Church Avenue, north on Church to 6th Street, west on 6th to Granada Avenue and south on Granada to Franklin Street.

The Tempe parade begins at 10 a.m. ASU Gammage on Mill Avenue and ends at Tempe Beach Park.

The Prescott parade begins at 11 a.m. and circles downtown.
