Wallingford PD investigating fatal motorcycle crash

WALLINGFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Wallingford are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that killed a New Haven man.

Emergency crews were called to the area of South Colony Road and Chester Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, a Honda Element and the Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle collided.

The operator of the motorcycle, 52-year-old Timothy Rosa of New Haven, died on scene.

The operator of the Honda Element, 47-year-old Debra Denhart, was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital where she is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the accident but has since reopened.
