WB I-70 past Blue Ridge Cutoff reopens after multi-vehicle wreck

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Interstate 70 westbound past the Blue Ridge Cutoff temporarily closed Saturday morning due to a multi-vehicle wreck.

All lanes were closed shortly after 10 a.m. and drivers were advised to use an alternate route.

Four vehicles were involved in the crash. One driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the second driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and two other drivers were not injured/

At the time of the wreck, one vehicle was seen sitting on the roadway on its roof.

One lane re-opened about 11 a.m. The entire roadway re-opened about 12:30 p.m.
