Drug agents arrest nearly naked man hiding in bushes

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It was an unusual arrest to say the least for Albany, GA drug agents Thursday morning.

During a chase, Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit agents found a nearly naked man hiding in some bushes.

But he wasn't the man they were looking for.

A driver refused to stop for A.D.D.U. marked cars around 11:30 a.m. on the Albany Bypass.
The driver then jumped from the car and ran away on Sunset Lane.

Drug agents found Marcus Bush, 30, hiding and wearing only his underwear.

"The officers were able to recover not only the clothing, but caught him hiding in some shrubbery and bushes and pinestraw in the back," said A.D.D.U. Commander Major Bill Berry.

Agents later determined Bush wasn't driving the car. He is, however, wanted in Dooly County.

The real driver of the car still hasn't been caught.

Agents did talk to a passenger in the car, but she wasn't charged with any crime.
