Metro police officer involved in crash

A Metro police officer was involved in a crash at the intersection of Interstate Drive and James Robertson Parkway on Monday morning.

The driver accused of hitting the officer's car is being tested for DUI.

Police say the officer was headed to East Nashville when the driver allegedly blew through a stop sign and hit the officer's car.

The driver was taken to the hospital with a shoulder injury.

The officer is said to have not been injured in the crash.
