Two people were killed and another injured in a crash late Monday evening in Northside.
According to Cincinnati Police, Recardo King, 30, was driving a 1998 Audi A6 south on Kirby Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle. The car reportedly went off the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree.
It happened near the 4700 block of Kirby Avenue just before midnight.
Both King and his front seat passenger, 31-year-old Deonte White, were killed.
A passenger in the back seat, Marcus Grissom, 26, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency crews.
Police say that speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation. Any witnesses are asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
Kirby Avenue was closed for most of the night but reopened around 4 a.m.
