KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

Police have one man in custody but are looking for another following a high-speed chase that ended across state line.

The chase began about 10:50 a.m. Thursday after police spotted a stolen SUV that had been taken during an armed robbery in Overland Park on Sunday.

There were two men in the Jeep Cherokee in the area of 12th Street and Prospect Avenue when police began following them.

The chase went onto Interstate 70 where speeds reached up to 90 mph.

The chase ended shortly before 11 a.m. near the intersection of First Street and Walker Avenue in Kansas City, KS, when the two men jumped from the vehicle.

One man was taken into custody following a short foot chase, but the other man was able to run into a nearby wooded area.

KCK police brought in a dog to search for the man, as the Kansas City, MO, police helicopter hovered overhead, but the man has yet to be found.  The search continues.

No one was injured in the incident.
