Two workers were hurt in a more than 10-foot fall when a scaffold collapsed at a construction site in Phoenix on Friday.
Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Jacobs said the two men were on the scaffold that was between two and three stories high when it collapsed, sending them to the ground.
The accident happened about 1:40 p.m. on East Exeter Boulevard.
Jacobs said both men were alert and talking when emergency crews arrived. They were taken to a trauma hospital with injuries. Jacobs said they didn't appear to have broken bones, and are expected to be OK.
The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
