Gilbert PD: Man arrested for making fake bomb threat

GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -

One person is in custody for making a false bomb threat in a Gilbert neighborhood, police said.  

Gilbert police spokesman Jesse Sanger said a threat was phoned in to police dispatchers just before 2 p.m.

Officers searched the shopping complex at Val Vista and Guadalupe.

Sanger said during the search, some nearby schools were placed on lockdown.

The suspect's name has not been released. No other information is immediately available.
