PARKVILLE, MO (KCTV) -

Authorities have identified the body that was found on the shore of the Missouri River near Interstate 435 in September.

Kansas City, KS, police were called about 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 12 about a possible body in the river near the Platte County line. The body was later identified as that of 35-year-old Christopher M. Rielly.

The man has a couple of tattoos on his lower back. One is a four-leaf clover on the lower right portion of his back along with the letters "Ca" on the lower left portion of his back.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office said records of Rielly's fingerprints were used to confirm his identity. They said he was most recently from the Leavenworth, KS, area and had not been reported missing.

His cause of death is still undetermined at this time.
