KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police said a standoff in a south Kansas City neighborhood has ended after three people came out of the home.

The standoff was going on near Robandee Lane and East 93rd Street. The area is northeast of James A Reed and Bannister roads.

Officials said about 2:30 p.m. officers were serving two felony warrants, one for narcotics and the other for weapons, and the 24-year-old man in the home refused to come out.

Police had no idea if the man inside was armed or not.

Shortly before 6 p.m., police said three people came out of the home. While one person matched the description of the suspect they were serving warrants to, he denied he was the person they were looking for.

Police were able to determine the man inside was the suspect they were looking for and are now waiting on a search warrant to enter the home.
