Cleveland Cops are looking for hit and run driver

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

On Sunday morning a man was struck by a vehicle, the driver took off and his friends want answers.

Cleveland Police confirm that at 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, the victim of the hit and run was riding on a Yamaha motorcycle traveling eastbound on Kinsman Rd. near E. 121st Street when a vehicle slammed into him.  The driver apparently didn't stop and continued eastbound on Kinsman.

The victim could not describe the car that hit him but witnesses say they saw what may have been a white or silver Chevy Impala.  The male victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is being treated for his injuries.  His condition is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information as to the identification or whereabouts of the suspect or suspect vehicle is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police Hit Skip Unit at 216-623-5295.
