Man accused of stealing from laundromat coin machine, female accomplice sought

MENTOR ON THE LAKE, OH (WOIO) -

A Cleveland man accused of stealing from a coin machine at a Mentor-on-the-Lake laundromat.

During the week of August 19, Mentor-on-the-Lake police took several reports of theft from a coin machine at Corner Cleaners on Lakeshore Blvd.

On August 23, cops located the suspect vehicle pulling out of a construction site on Munson Road.

Edwin James was arrested and charged charged with tampering with coin machines and theft.

A female suspect with James at the time of the theft has yet to be identified. Police believe her first name may be "Jamie" and she may reside in Indiana.

Anyone with information which may aid investigators is urged to contact the detective bureau at 440-257-7234.
