LEE'S SUMMIT, MO (KCTV) -

A Lee's Summit man has been charged with two felonies in connection with a sex case in which a Lee's Summit police officer posed undercover as a 13-year-old girl, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Saturday.

Brian E. Lucy, 54, faces a count of attempted enticement of a child and another count of sexual misconduct involving a child.

According to court records, a witness alerted police that a man had inquired in an online discussion about having sex with her 13-year-old daughter. A police officer then posed as the girl and engaged online in a sexual discussion with Lucy, then arranged to meet him at a park, where he was taken into custody.

Lucy was being held late Friday on a $100,000 bond.
