PD: Tolleson man lying in street was stabbed to death

TOLLESON, AZ (CBS5) -

A Tolleson man found lying in the street Sunday morning was stabbed to death, police said.

Officers said they found the body of Donny Perez, 30, in the 9200 block of West Jefferson Street just before 5:30 a.m.

Police said there was a stab wound to the upper portion of his body.

Tolleson police Sgt. Obed Gaytan said it appears Perez and Richard Passage, 43, of Tolleson, had been fighting when the stabbing occurred.

Passage was arrested.

No other information was immediately available. 
