Hartford police search for 2 brothers wanted on murder charges

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Numerous law enforcement agencies including the Hartford Police Department are searching for two brothers accused of a fatal shooting in the Capital City earlier this month.

According to police, Kunta Soyini, 35, of Hartford and Quan Soyini, 37, of Manchester, were involved in the murder of Chimar Gordon on July 10.

Gordon was found while lying in the parking lot of Thirman L. Milner Elementary School and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Gordon died from the gunshot wounds, police added.  

Kunta Soyini is wanted on murder and carrying dangerous weapon charges, while Quan Soyini is wanted on a warrant for murder, conspiracy to commit and aiding and abetting.

Hartford police are asking for the public's help locating these two suspects.
