Grandview pastor accused of lewd behavior in Leawood

Posted: Updated:

The lead pastor of a Grandview church is accused of engaging in lewd behavior by authorities in Leawood.

The Johnson County District Attorney's Office has charged Larramie Don Crumpley with exposing himself in an effort to fulfill his sexual desires. The person wasn't his spouse, according to court documents.

The lewd and lascivious behavior charge is a misdemeanor. This allegedly occurred on April 29 and charges were filed June 4. Bond was set at $2,500.

Grandview Assembly's website still lists Crumpley as the lead pastor. Church officials said Crumpley is on vacation and they cannot discuss the allegations because it is an ongoing investigation.

The Assemblies of God Southern Missouri District Superintendent Don Miller said the organization is aware of the charge and that the process for dealing with such matters has been initiated.

Crumpley's next court appearance is July 19.
