Posted: Updated:

He is not a baseball player, but an Overland Park man will soon be inducted in Cooperstown, NY, home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Ted Baker is a Kansas City Royals fan. He has been to a number of games at Kauffman Stadium.

But not only that, Baker has accomplished the dream of many baseball fans throughout the world. He has attend a big league game in every Major League ball park.

To reward his dedication and achievement, Sports Travel and Tours, an international sports travel company, will induct him on July 27 into the Sports Travel and Tours Baseball Stadium Hall of Fame.

The ceremony will take place in the Bullpen Theatre in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

Baker has watched hundreds of games in all 30 of the country's Major League Baseball stadiums and shows off his baseball stadium passport to prove it.

"They don't believe me,"  he said.

Baker has loved baseball since he was a child.

"My father and I, back in the 50s, used to watch the game of the week on TV," he said.

He went to his first game when he was 14 when the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago Cubs played in the old Connie Mack Stadium.

Baker decided he would fulfill his bucket list dream in 2002 once he retired.

"I just always wanted to," he said.

His most memorable moment was at AT&T Park, home to the San Francisco Giants.

"We were sitting there watching the ball game and watching the sailboats go by in the bay, and I said, 'You can't see that anywhere else,'" he said.

And what is baseball without a hotdog. Baker has rated every one.

"I decided the best hot dogs are the Braves' dogs in Atlanta, and what they are, they are a foot long chili dog, and its about twice as much as I would normally eat. But tasted so good," he said.

Whether it be the view or the tastes, Baker holds a special place for each field.

Baker is going to be inducted along with 38 other dedicated fans.
