Heat wave drives up more possible deaths in Kansas City

Posted: Updated:
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

The heat may have turned deadly again.

Officials with the Kansas City Health Department said Monday they are investigating three deaths they suspect of being heat related.

Those deaths include two men, one born in 1940 and the other born in 1944 as well as a woman born in 1928.

This comes after one confirmed heat death from earlier this year.

The health department reminds people to limit their outdoor activity to early morning or late evening.

And if someone has chronic health conditions, they need to take extra precautions.
