Police identify victim of fatal crash in Miami Township
MIAMI TOWNSHIP, CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -
The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident which claimed the life of 59-year-old Douglas Brummett of Milford.
The accident happened around 4:25 p.m. Monday. Police say Brummett was driving a 1999 Ford Windstar when he attempted to pull onto State Route 131 from a private lot near Sugarcamp Road in Clermont County when he was struck by a 2008 Ford F250 driven by Dominic Lajoye, 31, of Amelia.
Brummett's vehicle was struck on the driver's side. The Windstar went off the road and hit two parked vehicles. Mr Brummett was transported to Bethesda North Hospital where he died. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
