The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating Monday's accident that injured a construction worker in Gilbert.

The worker, who fell about three stories onto concrete in Gilbert, is doing "amazingly well," Gilbert fire officials said.

The 32-year-old man was working on the roof of a charter school under construction when he fell 30 to 35 feet, according to a spokesman for the Gilbert Fire Department.

The unidentified man was flown to Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn Hospital with several traumatic injuries, the spokesman said.

The victim took the brunt of fall on the left side of his body. He suffered a broken left pelvis. His left thigh bone, left lower arm and left elbow were also broken.

The man did not suffer any internal bleeding, according to fire rescue authorities.
