NEW DEVELOPMENTS: Security detail to remain at Ariel Castro's house
Ariel Castro's Seymour Avenue home, Cleveland
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
19 Action News Reporter Ed Gallek is learning more about security on Seymour Avenue where three missing women were found alive.
Cleveland Police say they and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department will keep cars at the scene to protect the crime scene.
Authorities spent days removing evidence, and then they boarded up the home and installed a tall fence.
Still, one car from CPD or the Sheriff's Department will remain in front. One in back.
The security is similar to what was done at the home of serial killer Anthony Sowell.
In this case, Ariel Castro is facing charges for holding Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight hostage for years in chains and locked rooms, sexually abusing the women. More charges will be coming.
