In today's image-obsessed society, women will go to great lengths to shave years off their looks. And they're not alone.
Cosmetic procedures among men have gone up 20 percent in the last couple years.
"I'm seeing men on a regular basis for their Botox, more and more men coming in for body sculpting," said Dr. Jay Kulkin with Women's Institute for Health.
Kulkin said his male patients are getting much more comfortable with the idea of "getting work done."
"If you look at the magazines and you look at dating trends, and younger men dating women slightly older, and these guys want to look young just as the women coming to us want to look young," Kulkin said.
Botox continues to be the most popular quick wrinkle fix for men and women.
"I think everybody, whether it's professional or personal, just to stay attractive, stay on top of your game - it's important," said Trey Harris, a personal trainer.
The 33-year-old Harris came to WIFH first for laser hair removal, and later for Botox.
"As it becomes more mainstream, it becomes more accepted," Harris said.
And some guys are going a step further for longer lasting results. Facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Mark Beaty said about 20 percent of his patients are men.
"They feel the need to be able to present themselves physically as sharp and young as they feel mentally," Beaty said.
One patient, 41-year-old Victor, started getting Ultherapy - an ultrasound treatment to lift and tighten the skin along his jaw.
"It's not going to correct large amounts of aging change, but for what a lot of men are looking for, which is just a subtle improvement - little bit of lift, little bit of toning, looking a little better - it does a nice job," Beaty said.
Victor said the change is subtle. "People would say wow you're really looking good. You must be working out, drinking more water," he said.
And when non-invasive treatments just won't cut it, some men go under the knife.
Dennis Wolk, a 56-year-old profusionist, went to Beaty at the request of his wife.
"My eyelids folded over my eyes. It wasn't very becoming. My eyes did make me look older," Wolk said.
After surgery, Wolk said he was pleased with his updated look.
"They ask me, 'What have you had done,' but they can't really identify what it is until I tell them," Wolk said.
And that's the number one request according to Beaty: Natural results.
"Men are justifiably, particularly interested in not being overdone," Beaty said.
