WILLIMANTIC, CT (WFSB) -

Investigators, hoping to gather more information and leads into the disappearance of a 20-year-old, held spot checks in downtown Willimantic over the weekend.

Alyssiah Wiley, a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut State University, was last seen more than two weeks ago after she told roommates she was going home for the weekend. Wiley never made it.

Officials spent the day Saturday performing spot checks near the Dairy Queen in town, the area Wiley was last seen.

State Police said they have received several tips, but so far none have lead to locating Wiley.

Police are urging anyone with information to call them or text their tip anonymously to CRIMES (274637).

A Facebook page has also been set up by the Windham County States Attorney's office to aid in the search, that page can be viewed here.
