FBI: Bank inside of KCK Walmart robbed

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -

The Federal Bureau of Investigations is investigating after a bank inside a Kansas City, KS, Walmart was robbed.

An FBI spokesperson said about 1 p.m. the Community American Credit Union at Parallel Parkway and Hutton Road was robbed by a man.

The robber approached the teller, showed a note and said he was robbing the place. The teller told authorities he or she saw the butt end of a handgun.

The robber left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses saw him leave the Walmart parking lot in a white PT Cruiser.

The robber is described as a white man in his 50s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds. He was wearing a white and red OU baseball hat, black jacket and white T-shirt with blue jeans and white and blue tennis shoes. He had a grey goatee beard and salt and pepper hair.
