It's a big weekend for anyone who wants to get out and run or walk for a good cause.
On Saturday, the Aids Walk begins at 10 a.m. in Theis Park in the Country Club Plaza. On Sunday, the Trolley Run starts at 7:45 a.m. at 75th Street and Wornall Road. Also on Sunday, at 10 a.m. the March for Babies is held - it starts at Truman Road and Walnut Street downtown.
There will be street closings connected to all three races.
There's also one more event that will attract runners this weekend - the Warrior Dash.
This is the third year the Warrior Dash is held in Kansas City and this year participants can experience the thrill of being thrown into the air on the Blob to Bag.
Josh Beste with the company Man Cave said, for $10, people can get three jumps on the Blob.
It's not part of the Warrior Dash, but is included in the festival of music, food, drinks and fun that people enjoy after completing the race.
In Europe, jumping from an inflatable thing like the Blob is actually an extreme sport these days.
